The Abdominal Cancers Alliance is proud to announce that President and Co-Founder Dr. Armando Sardi will participate in the 5th Latin American Congress on Peritoneal Neoplasms—PSOGI LATAM 2026—in Cartagena, Colombia. Dr. Sardi will moderate a session focused on appendiceal tumors and pseudomyxoma peritonei, joining international experts to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and help advance specialized care for patients with peritoneal cancers.

PIPAC is a newer way to deliver chemotherapy directly to cancers that have spread to the lining of the abdomen. Using a minimally invasive procedure, chemotherapy is sprayed as a fine mist to improve drug delivery while reducing side effects.
