Dr. Joel Baumgartner and the Post-HIPEC Surgery Process

Dr. Joel Baumgartner presented at the PMP Pals MeetUp2022 in October 2022 in San Diego. He spoke on the post-surgery recovery process following HIPEC/CRS and the journey to wellness after an appendix cancer diagnosis.

Dr. Baumgartner is a surgical oncologist with Moores Cancer Center, University of California at San Diego Health (UCSD). A Specialist in treating gastroinestinal (GI) tract disorders, appendix cancer, and peritoneal carcinomatosis, Dr. Baumgartner treats many of our PMP Pals from across the country.
