"My name is Dr. Lawrence Henry, and I am living proof. In 2021, a year after retiring from the United States army, for over 26 years in military service, I was diagnosed with stage 3C colon cancer and in 2025 diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. I'm living proof that an abdominal cancer diagnosis, although very serious, is not the end. 

Today I am living a full life with family and friends, something I couldn't imagine during my previous diagnoses. I want you to help me by clicking share on this message. So that the Abdominal Cancers Alliance and I can reach more people with our message; that getting specialized care can mean living longer and better. Every day this organization is focused on spreading hope and has created a new event titled 'Living Proof: A Cabaret' to tell the stories of survivors just like me.
