To ease the practical and emotional burdens faced by individuals and families navigating rare and complex appendix cancers - with a focus on Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP) - by providing compassionate patient navigation, peer support and mentoring from those who understand the journey, practical and financial assistance, and access to trusted resources and information.
Services
Guided Path – Appendix Cancer/PMP Support provides non-clinical navigation, education, resource connection, peer support, and practical assistance for individuals and families affected by appendix cancer and Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP).
Founded from lived experience, Guided Path helps patients better understand their diagnosis, prepare for specialist appointments, locate experienced treatment centers, and navigate the practical and emotional challenges that can accompany rare cancer care. Support may include trusted educational resources, treatment and travel-planning guidance, connections to community and financial-assistance resources, peer-to-peer encouragement, and ongoing family support. All services are designed to complement—not replace—the care and guidance provided by a patient’s medical team.
